New Author

I wanted to take an opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Angelique LaFontaine and I live in Dallas Texas and yes, it’s getting VERY hot VERY quickly here right now.  What prompted me to introduce myself?  Well, I'm the author of Sandstone and Mirrors: The Crossover and Walking Before You Run.  I'm also an artist, which incidentally, if anybody is going to be in the Dallas area June 18^th, I’m having an art show and silent auction.  Please feel free to stop in and say hi.  You can go to my website, http://www.angeliqueartwork.com/ for more details.

Anyway, I’ve always loved to write stories; as far back as I can remember.  I read a lot of Stephen King books as a kid.  I think the thing that fascinated me the most about his stories was the fact that there were really no boundaries to his work.  I was inspired by his stories having limitless possibilities.  I mean really, that’s the great thing about reading science fiction, fantasy, horror ect., it’s coming from your imagination so if you can think it or dream it, you can write it into your story.  

I’m really hoping to meet more authors and readers through out the process of publishing more books.  I’m constantly inspired by other people’s work and constantly impressed with the creativity that they are able to generate. 

That’s all I have for right now but, my book Sandstone and Mirrors is being republished, I don’t have an exact release date yet but will keep you all updated with the progress.  Thanks so much!!!
